Some Photos of the USS Alabama and the USS Drum
Spent the past weekend (24th,25th, 26th) in Baton
Rouge with some long time friends of mine. We went
out to eat at a local diner. You guessed it- CAJUN!  Well
it turned out that the owner of the place is Bob Brunet.
He played for the Washington Redskins from 1968 to
1977. If you are ever in the Baton Rouge area, you have
to visit this place. Here is their website

Left Baton Rouge heading for San Antonio. The sky was cloudy but no
rain. By afternoon the sky really looked threatening so decided to stop just
across the Texas state line. Still no rain. Tuesday morning the forecast for
Houston was afternoon rain so left early and fortunately never got rained
on. Got to San Antonio and found out that the average price for a campsite
in an RV park was $35 so I opted for a Motel 6 for $40. Stayed here two
nights since I was going to be in town most of the next day. Below are
some photos of the Alamo and The river walk.
