Small pigs, I know what they call them but I can't spell it. I'll find out later

There were probably 20 or 25 of them.

This is the plateau up in the mountains in the center of the park. The pictures cannot do this place justice.

They call these the mule ears. This photo is zoomed in. Below is a regular photo.

This is the Santa Elena (spelling?) canyon. As these mountains rose out of the ground over years and years, the Rio Grande river cut the canyon out of the soft sand stone. A most impressive canyon as you will see in some of the next photos.

Along the mountain horizon in front of the steam engine you can see a small cut in the mountain ridge. This is the Santa Elena Canyon from several miles away.

This is in a river bed on the edge of the Rio Grande on the way to Presidio, Tx. These are not rocks in the river bed, but this is where the river has eaten down into the limestone riverbed and left this uneven erosion.

Same area but shot from a different angle.

The rest of the photos are shots taken along the Rio Grande on the way to Presidio, Tx

These two are the sunset from the campground in Presidio.
