This first arch was alongside the road. The name
is the Wilson Arch.

Hole in the rock was a 5000 square foot home built
by Albert Christensen.
Travelers along U.S. Highway 191 in Southeastern
Utah are amazed to discover this unique 5,000

The visitor center is down below.
That pebble lodged up in that crack probably weighs
at least 500 pounds.
This is Delicate Arch. It is the emblem on the Utah
state tags. These photos are from a considerable
distance. It was late in the afternoon and I knew
that I had to go back the next morning and hike up
to the arch.
This next photo is not zoomed in.
The below photo is part of the hike to the Delicate
Arch the next morning. It was not the easiest hike I
have ever done.
This is an eroded basin as seen from beneath the
arch.
There is that tourist again.
